Ticket Sales Terms and Conditions – Gravity Museum

§1. General Provisions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) define the rules for reserving and purchasing admission tickets to the Gravity Museum in Warsaw, located at ul. Świętojerska 5/7, 00-236 Warsaw, via the website www.muzeumgrawitacji.pl, hereinafter referred to as “Ticket Sales”.

Ticket sales may also take place at the ticket office of the Gravity Museum under the rules specified in the Museum Regulations.

The ticket seller is: Muzeum Świat Grawitacji sp. z o.o., with its registered office in Warsaw, 02-203, ul. Kurhan 6, NIP 9512409323, REGON 364010338, KRS 0000608971 (“Ticket Seller” or “Gravity Museum”).

Payment Operator – a website operated by an external provider that processes online payments for tickets on behalf of the Gravity Museum.

Sales Service / Online Store – the online ticket sales system used by the Ticket Seller.

§3. Technical Requirements

To use the online store, the Customer must have:

  • a device with Internet access and a web browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge),

  • an active email account,

  • Cookies and JavaScript enabled, in accordance with the system requirements.

§4. Offer, Prices and Availability

The Gravity Museum provides information in the Sales System and Online Store regarding available ticket types, visiting dates, entry times, conditions of use, and the ticket price list.

Ticket prices are gross prices (including VAT) and apply at the moment the Customer makes payment through the Payment Operator.

The Gravity Museum indicates available visiting dates in the calendar on the Website for which Tickets can be purchased.

The Gravity Museum reserves the right to suspend ticket sales (limit availability) on selected dates or times and to suspend or cancel the sale of offered goods.

Customers who purchase Tickets through the Sales System have priority access to the exhibition at the time indicated on their Ticket over persons purchasing tickets at the Museum premises. In the event of overlapping entry times for Tickets purchased in the Sales System, the order of entry will be determined by the Gravity Museum staff.

The maximum number of visitors allowed in the Gravity Museum at one time is 50 persons. Customers are required to follow the instructions of the Museum staff regarding visitor limits and entry times.

If, during payment processing or order confirmation, available places or goods are no longer available, the Gravity Museum may cancel the order (in whole or in part) and refund the Customer the paid ticket price or issue a Voucher valid for another visit date.

§5. Placing an Order, Conclusion of the Agreement, Payment

The process of ordering and purchasing a Ticket in the online store may include the following steps:

  • selecting the type and number of tickets,

  • selecting the date and time of the visit,

  • providing Customer details (first name, last name, email, optionally phone number) required to complete payment,

  • confirming acceptance of the Gravity Museum Regulations, Ticket Sales Terms and Conditions, and Privacy Policy,

  • selecting the payment method,

  • placing the order,

  • completing payment.

The sales agreement is concluded once the Payment Operator records the full payment for the Tickets.

If payment is not completed within the time specified by the system and determined by the Payment Operator, the order may be cancelled.

Payment in the online store must be made in full (partial payments are not possible).

The Payment Operator lists the accepted payment methods on the Website (e.g. electronic bank transfer, payment cards, BLIK, external payment systems).

Any costs related to payment processing (e.g. operator commissions) are borne by the Customer if the payment system provides for such charges.

Payment for Tickets purchased in the online Sales System cannot be made by bank transfer to the Gravity Museum’s bank account. Transfers made in this way do not constitute a valid purchase and will be refunded to the Customer.

Bank transfers for group tickets purchased outside the Payment System may only be made after prior arrangement with the Gravity Museum.

§6. Delivery / Fulfilment of Tickets

After payment has been recorded in the payment system, the ticket will be sent within 15 minutes to the Customer’s email address as a PDF file or another file containing a readable identifier (barcode, QR code, ticket number).

If the ticket does not arrive within 1 hour, the Customer should contact customer service.

The Customer may present the ticket in electronic form (on a mobile device) or as a printed copy.

At the entrance to the Museum, staff will scan the code or verify ticket details and validate the ticket in the system (mark it as used). In the event of a system failure, validation may be performed by marking the printed Ticket or recording the use in the Museum’s documentation.

Sharing the ticket code, transaction number, ticket file, or reselling the ticket to third parties is prohibited.

The ticket is a bearer document. If several persons arrive with the same ticket, entry will be granted to the person who presents it first.

By purchasing a Ticket, the Customer accepts the Gravity Museum Visiting Regulations published on the Website.

In the case of a discounted ticket, the Customer must present proof of eligibility for the discount to Museum staff before entering the exhibition.

The Customer must keep the Ticket with them during the entire visit and present it upon request of Museum staff.

For group tickets, the person whose details are provided when purchasing the ticket is treated as the group organizer and is responsible for informing all group members about the Museum Regulations and ensuring their acceptance and compliance. The group organizer is responsible for any damage caused to the Gravity Museum due to non-compliance with the Museum Regulations.

§7. Refunds and Withdrawal from the Agreement

Under Article 38(12) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act, a consumer does not have the right to withdraw from a distance contract if the service concerns leisure or entertainment events for which the date or period of service has been specified.

Therefore, tickets purchased online are not refundable and cannot be exchanged.

In exceptional situations, the Gravity Museum may offer a Voucher for a visit on another date specified in the Voucher.

If the exhibition is closed for reasons attributable to the Gravity Museum, the Customer will be informed by email sent to the address provided in the order.

In the event of a temporary closure, the Customer may receive a Voucher valid for at least 3 months, or within 14 days of receiving information about the closure, may request a refund of the ticket price.

Refunds apply only to the ticket price. Service fees, payment operator commissions, and other costs incurred by the Customer may be non-refundable.

Refund requests must be sent by email to muzeum@muzeumgrawitacji.pl with the subject “Ticket Refund Request”, including:

  • the reason for the refund,

  • the bank account number for the refund transfer,

  • a PDF attachment confirming payment made through the Payment Operator in the Sales System.

Incomplete requests may be rejected.

Refund requests will be reviewed within 7 days, and the refund will be transferred to the Customer’s bank account within this period. If the refund request is rejected, the Customer will be informed by email.

§8. Complaints

The Customer has the right to submit a complaint regarding the ticket sales service or the visit to the Museum within 14 days from the date of the event (or the date on which the service should have taken place).

Complaints should be sent:

  • by email to muzeum@muzeumgrawitacji.pl, or

  • by post to the registered address of the Gravity Museum with the note “Ticket Complaint”.

The complaint should include:

  • the Customer’s name or company name,

  • the order or ticket identification number,

  • a description of the issue,

  • proof of purchase and payment.

The Museum will review the complaint within 14 days of receipt.

The response will be provided by email or by post to the address indicated in the complaint.

Handling a complaint does not exclude the Customer’s right to pursue claims under general law (including the Civil Code).

§9. Personal Data

The controller of personal data of Customers using the online store is the Gravity Museum.

Data are collected for the purpose of performing the ticket sales agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and—if the Customer gives consent—also for marketing purposes (newsletters, promotions).

Recipients of the data may include payment processors, IT service providers cooperating with the Museum, and other authorized entities in accordance with the law.

Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary to conclude the agreement (to the extent required by the purchase form).

Data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area without appropriate safeguards.

Detailed rules for collecting, processing and storing personal data are specified in the Privacy Policy published on www.muzeumgrawitacji.pl in the Privacy Policy section and available at the Museum premises.

§10. Visiting Restrictions, Liability and Rules in the Museum

Visitors must comply with the Gravity Museum Regulations published on the website and available at the Museum premises.

The number of visitors at any time may be limited for safety reasons; the Museum reserves the right to temporarily suspend entry.

Children under 14 years of age may stay in the Museum only under the supervision of an adult.

Visitors are responsible for any damage caused within the Museum due to their fault.

Purchasing a Ticket or entering the exhibition constitutes acceptance of the Gravity Museum Regulations.

The Museum reserves the right to close parts of the exhibition due to technical reasons or malfunctions; information about significant limitations will be announced in advance where possible.

§11. Changes to the Terms

The Gravity Museum reserves the right to amend these Terms.

Changes become effective upon publication on the website www.muzeumgrawitacji.pl, provided that they do not apply retroactively to orders already paid for in the Sales Service through the Payment Operator.

The Gravity Museum may change the Website content, Sales System, or Payment Operator without prior notice, provided that such changes do not affect orders already paid for.

§12. Final Provisions

The ticket sales agreement is concluded once the ticket is paid for in the Sales Service through the Payment Operator, by entering into the performance of the service.

In matters not regulated by these Terms, the provisions of Polish law apply, in particular: the Civil Code, the Consumer Rights Act, the Act on Electronic Services, and the GDPR. These Terms do not limit the Customer’s rights arising from mandatory legal provisions.

The Ticket Seller states that the use of the Website is at the Customer’s own cost and risk. The Seller does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Website, the sales system, or the payment system.

The Ticket Seller shall not be liable for any damages resulting from:

  • malfunction of the Website, sales system, or payment system,

  • temporary unavailability of these systems,

  • unauthorized access to Customer data by third parties,
